A service tailored to your requirements   Our planing line is designed to handle a wide variety of profiles and sections with high dimensional regularity.   We process a broad range of wood products, including : Sawn timber: for joinery, interior fittings, or panel production Blanks: solid or finger-jointed laminated Joists: exotic Class 4 wood, rounded edges (S4S – E4E – R3 mm) Decking boards: prepared before or after profiling   We can plane all commercially available species, both hardwoods and exotics.

Profiling is a key machining stage in wood processing, allowing the production of custom-shaped, ready-to-use components. At Faucheron, this operation is carried out in-house with high precision, across a wide range of species and product types.

 

 

 

Custom machining according to your profiles   Our profiling line shapes solid or engineered components, using tools suited to standard or custom-made client profiles.   Each order can include custom machining, defined directly from your technical drawings, based on your project needs or dimensional constraints.   Examples of profiled products : Decking boards: smooth, grooved, anti-slip, or open-joint profiles Solid or laminated blanks: joinery-specific profiles Sawn timber or strips: formatted for assembly or final finishing   We can machine all species available on the market.

 

 

 

 

Planing and profiling – Integrated in the processing chain   These operations are often combined with other in-house services, such as : KD drying Ripping or cross-cutting Finger-jointing and D4 gluing   This integrated approach allows us to control the entire production process, ensuring consistent quality, reliable lead times, and custom-machined, ready-to-use wood components.
