Scierie Faucheron manages every stage of the primary wood transformation process, from log selection to the storage of sawn and kiln-dried timber. We offer a wide dimensional range in accordance with market standards, as well as custom thicknesses and lengthstailored to your technical specifications.

 

This flexibility allows us to meet the requirements of professionals in joinery, cabinetmaking, interior fittings, and the wood industry. Our production focuses mainly on boules (flitches), both standard and custom dimensions, in French hardwoods and exotic species. Each batch is carefully prepared to meet the highest quality standards, using select-grade logs.

 

 

 

 

Our log yard   We operate a large log storage yard, organized by species, grade, and target thickness. Logs are then cross-cut to the required lengths, debarked, and fed into our semi-automated sawing line.   Our semi-automated sawing line   Our sawing line combines cutting-edge technology with long-standing woodworking expertise. This synergy enables optimized sawing, designed to maximize log yield while meeting dimensional and quality specifications.   Each log is sawn following a precise cutting plan, balancing technical performance and material optimization. After sawing, we offer products in various moisture conditions : Air-dried Kiln-dried Fresh-sawn
