High-performance laminated blanks for quality wood joinery

 

Since 2010, Scierie Faucheron has been manufacturing finger-jointed laminated wood blanks (types KKK, DKD, DDD, and other construction configurations) in-house, designed to meet the technical requirements of joinery professionals and industrial manufacturers, with lengths up to 6 meters.

 

These laminated blanks offer exceptional dimensional stability, making them ideal for the production of interior and exterior joinery — windows, doors, frames, and structural wood components.

Structurally, their multi-layer composition, combined with finger-jointing and D4 adhesive bonding, ensures high mechanical strength and long-term stability without deformation.

 

Each blank is produced from carefully selected hardwoods, chosen for their mechanical performance, visual uniformity, and durability.

Our secondary processing unit is fully dedicated to the production of finger-jointed laminated blanks and edge-glued panels.

This integrated structure includes every stage of manufacturing for these high added-value engineered wood products:

  • Surfacing of laths and finger-jointed strips

  • Finger-jointing

  • D4 gluing of solid or finger-jointed lamellas using hydraulic presses

  • Stabilization in a temperature- and humidity-controlled building

  • Planing and calibration to the required dimensions

  • Application of our CTB LCA certification mark

 

Each laminated blank is inspected at every stage of production to ensure optimum quality and consistency for our clients.
